BMI and ASCAP hosted a No. 1 party to celebrate the multi-platinum superstar Cole Swindell for his 11th career chart-topping single, “Never Say Never,” the duet with ACM New Female Artist of the Year Lainey Wilson. The powerhouse duet, written by Swindell, Jessi Alexander and Chase McGill, hit No. 1 on both Mediabase and Billboard country airplay charts in just 23 weeks. With “Never Say Never” and his previous hit “Single Saturday Night,” Swindell notched two back-to-back multi-week No. 1 singles. The two back-to-back multi-week No. 1 singles are on his recently released fourth album, Stereotype. The celebration was held at BMI in front of over a hundred friends, family, press, Music Row tastemakers, publishers and fellow songwriters.

Swindell and Wilson will perform their now RIAA-certified GOLD duet on the upcoming “CMA Fest” special on Wednesday, August 3 at 8/7c on ABC and available the next day on Hulu. Swindell and Wilson launched the duet “Never Say Never” on ABC’s Good Morning America and later that same evening delivered a rain-drenched “powerhouse performance” (Taste of Country) of the duet live on the CMT Music Awards on the CBS Television Network and on demand on Paramount+. Their performance on the CMT Music Awards was called “arguably the night’s top must watch performance” by the Tennessean; Country Now claimed Swindell and Wilson “brought their A-game to the CMT Music Awards” and CMT.com exclaimed “they did not disappoint” with their performance. They have also performed “Never Say Never” on The Kelly Clarkson Show.

Stereotype,
produced by Zach Crowell, Chris LaCorte, Jordan Schmidt and Michael Carter, highlights Swindell as a hit-making songwriter across the project, writing 7 of the album’s 13 tracks. Stereotype is available now all digital retailers.

Swindell’s current single, “She Had Me At Heads Carolina,” is racing up the charts already hitting the Top 25 in just a few weeks of impacting radio. The single, written by Ashley Gorley, Jesse Frasure, Thomas Rhett, Mark D. Sanders and Tim Nichols, is available across all digital service providers.

The 11-time chart-topper, currently on the road throughout the summer, launches his headlining Back Down To The Bar Tour, featuring Ashley Cooke and Dylan Marlowe, on September 23. For tour dates and to purchase tickets go to www.ColeSwindell.com.
