Multi-Platinum selling superstar Cole Swindell closes out the biggest year of his career with two Platinum-certified, multi-week No. 1 singles (“Never Say Never” featuring Lainey Wilson and “She Had Me At Heads Carolina”); two sold-out headlining tours (Down To The Bar Tour and Back Down To The Bar Tour), two back-to-back, sold-out nights for his inaugural Ryman Auditorium headlining shows; multiple CMA Award and CMT Music Awards nominations for “Never Say Never,” multiple high profile television performances including The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, Good Morning America, Kelly Clarkson Show, 2022 CMT Music Awards and the 56th Annual CMA Awards. Additionally, earlier this year Pandora honored Swindell with the elite BILLIONAIRE plaque for surpassing three BILLION lifetime spins. He has earned more than 5.4 BILLION global streams throughout his career.
Swindell broke his own personal record earlier this year with the release of “Never Say Never” featuring Lainey Wilson, hitting the top of the charts in just 22 weeks, only to come with his most recent lauded career single “She Had Me At Heads Carolina,” which is now his fastest-rising to date. The single hit No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart in just 12 weeks and held its reign across the Billboard and Country Aircheck chart for five consecutive weeks. It then remained at No. 2 on the Billboardchart for an additional month and has, in total, amassed seventeen weeks and counting in the Top 5.
“She Had Me At Heads Carolina” wrapped up the year landing in the Top 10 of Billboard’s 2022 Year End charts, at No. 6 for Country Airplay Songs and No. 6 Country Digital Song Sales. The single broke records as the first five-week chart-topper from Warner Music Nashville since Blake Shelton’s “Austin” in 2001, and it boasts more than 280 million global streams. It is the third Platinumâ-certified consecutive multi-week No. 1 single from Swindell’s fourth album, Stereotype, following “Single Saturday Night” and “Never Say Never.”
Swindell released a special duet remix of his record-breaking “She Had Me At Heads Carolina” last month featuring Jo Dee Messina. HERE. Swindell, a two-time CMA Award nominee, had one of the most talked-about CMA Awards performances of the night with the surprise appearance of CMA-Award winning and multi-Platinum selling country star Jo Dee Messina joining him to perform this special duet remix version his five-week No. 1 single “She Had Me At Heads Carolina.” Messina is the original artist of the ‘90s country smash “Heads Carolina, Tails California,” and the inspiration for Swindell’s most recent, career-defining hit.
