Multi-Platinum selling superstar Cole Swindell was one of the night’s biggest winners, taking home three ACM Awards at last night’s 58th Academy of Country Music Awards. Swindell took home the Single of the Year and won two awards for the prestigious Song of the Year (as songwriter and artist) all for his 5-week No. 1 hit “She Had Me At Heads Carolina.” The multi-award-winning song, produced by Zach Crowell, was co-written with Ashley Gorley, Jesse Frasure, Thomas Rhett and the original writers on “Heads Carolina, Tails California” Mark D. Sanders and Tim Nichols. Swindell topped the award-winning night with a performance of “She Had Me At Carolina [Remix]” with Jo Dee Messina. Just five months into 2023, Swindell has had a career-defining year.
