Rising country star, Jon Langston, released his latest music video, “Happy Ever After,” today. The video illustrates part two of the storyline that first began in Langston’s music video, “Drinks,” released two weeks prior. Directed by Mason Dixon, “Happy Ever After” starts with Langston meeting up with his friends at the bar following his recent breakup. When Langston’s ex-girlfriend sees his post on Instagram, she shows up with her “daddy trust fund” boyfriend to try to make Langston jealous, backfiring in a humorous plot twist. Fans can watch “Happy Ever After” HERE.
Langston first came up with the idea behind “Happy Ever After” while on his tour bus with co-writers Blake Bollinger and Brent Anderson. He envisioned a fun beer-drinking breakup song, which American Songwriter describes as a, “rip-roaring breakup song with an addictive hook that is destined to be a crowd favorite some fine day after this damn pandemic.” Langston is currently in the studio writing and recording new music.
